Prioritizing Students
My goal is to provide a forum that amplifies student voices and invites community involvement. Continuing to care for the health and well being of our students will allow them to thrive within the classroom and beyond. Supporting their causes and continuing to provide opportunities for them to be involved in their schools and community is imperative.
Supporting Teachers
Now, more than ever, I believe it is important for teachers to be involved in the decision making process in public education. Teachers bring a wealth of experience, knowledge, insight, and creativity to the table. Retaining and attracting high caliber staff is critical to the future success of our district.
Fiscal Responsibility & Transparency
Concrete, measurable goals must be put in place to achieve financial stability. I will foster collaboration, communication, and trust by increasing transparency and accountability on the school board. All stakeholders should be invited to have a seat and a voice at the table where decisions are being made. Rebuilding trust in the board is imperative.
